Definitely a Determined Day!

Today is the National Letter of Intent Day for college football players. Our local college, Boise State University, is planning to sign many "All Star" high school football players.

Are you an "All Star?" Do you want to be one?

I have good news for you! You can be as great as you want to be.

All you need to do is ask the greatest "All Star" there is. He is your Creator!

He created you and knows how you are designed to function. He knows your personality, your abilities and everything else about you.

If you are tired of trying to "measure up," why not "Treasure Up?!"

Listen to His voice in The Message from Matthew 11:28-30:

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.

He will reveal who you are and where you function BEST as you get to know Him!

What A Beautiful Day!

The sky is blue. Everything is covered with a soft blanket of six inches of pure, white snow.

It's the day after Christmas.

We celebrated Christmas with my two sisters and their families.

I want to encourage you.

The Lord has a wonderful plan for your life.

You may feel happy or sad or hopeful or discouraged or even deeply depressed. Feelings come and go.

One Person doesn't ever change. Listen to His Voice in Matthew 11:28-30 in The Message:

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.

He is the Christ of Christmas. He is waiting for You to come to Him.

He loves you and wants to strengthen and encourage you.
